THE CAPE ELIZABETH LAND TRUST'S PAINT FOR PRESERVATION
In just a few days from now I will be painting at Trundy Point at Cape Elizabeth for the Paint For Preservation Art Auction. This is their largest fundraiser each year and I am excited to support land conservation in this way with my ability.
On the first day, Friday June 29th I hope be painting from 8:30am to sunset. The following Saturday I hope to start painting earlier and finish painting at about the same time.
I have prepared a large linen and a large canvas from which I will paint two large plein air views of Trundy Point. Please feel free stop by and watch me paint. I will have postcards from CELT and my own for visitors.
The CELT office will be open Saturday and Sunday mornings until 12:00 for ticket sales for the Cocktail reception and auction event at Breakwater Farm from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
One of my wet large paintings of Trundy Point will go up for auction that evening. I am also participating in the "Mystery Box" sale. This is a new and fun addition to the auction where the participating artists can paint two small paintings for the sale no larger than 10 x 10 inches. The Mystery is that you buy a painting in a box without knowing who the artist is who painted it. These will each sell for $250.00 each. The pictures below are the dry paintings that I will be entering for the mystery Box sale.
